How to Block Ruffles

Blocking ruffles- sample is the Baby Ruffle Dress knitting pattern.

The most important part of blocking ruffles is making sure that the ruffles are evenly spaced, which is easily accomplished by "pinching" the ruffles in to place, then leaving them in place while they dry. For ruffled items blocking is the difference between a piece that just looks poorly knit and a piece that is stunning (or ridiculously cute, in the case of the baby dress).

This is part of Knit School on Midnightsky Fibers! If you found it helpful, it would be great if you shared it!
