Grandma's Crochet Designs

Crocheting a design that I found hand typed on the back of a piece of paper. Simple, but a really pretty design. I am doing it in a smaller thread as well (this is sport weight yarn here).

I added a shell edge to the long edge to make it look more finished and scarf like.

I know, I am an obsessive lover of pins and welding wire here. T pins, to be precise. I have them in a variety of thicknesses for blocking and sewing  really delicate pieces and thick sturdy ones for when I really tug out a lace design.You can often find them cheaper in sewing stores than knitting stores, but it can be harder to find the thicker T pins.

I really didn't need to block this out much, if at all. I already had all the blocking stuff sitting out though!
