Carding Superwash Merino With Angora

I've been carding some of the superwash merino with the local angora fiber, which is every so  slightly gray. I mixed in a bunch of silk floss too to add some shine.

I am spinning this as one ply to be plyed with another strand...

...the other strand is going to be superwash merino carded with superwash merino dyed with cochineal.  I will ply the white strand with angoa and silk with the multicolored one, then lightly overdye the entire yarn with a bit more cochineal for a tweedy depth of color.
